Power Junk & Bins Co. Ltd. — Bin Rental Service Agreement
Last Updated: July 26, 2026
By booking a bin rental with Power Junk & Bins Co. Ltd. (“Power Junk,” “we,” “us”), the customer (“you”) agrees to the terms outlined below. Please read them carefully before your delivery date.
Note: throughout this agreement, the term “bin” refers interchangeably to both disposal bins and dump trailers. These terms apply equally to both, unless otherwise specified.
Once your bin is delivered, it must stay in its original drop-off spot for the full rental period. If your bin needs to sit on a municipal road, you're responsible for getting the required permit and must email a copy to info@powerjunk.ca at least one day prior to delivery. You're responsible for keeping the bin and its contents secure, and the bin may only be used for the purpose listed on your invoice.
Plans change, we get it. Give us at least 24 hours' notice and there's no charge to cancel or reschedule. Outside that window, the following fees apply:
Our team does everything possible to keep every delivery and pickup on schedule. That said, we can't safely retrieve a bin that's blocked in, overfilled, or otherwise unsafe to move, and additional fees may apply in those situations.
Flat-rate bins for dirt, concrete, or asphalt are priced for those materials only. If mixed waste ends up in one of these bins, a $100 separation fee will apply if our driver is able to safely sort it on pickup. If it can't be safely separated, the bin will be reclassified as general waste and billed accordingly.
For General Waste bins, no soil, concrete, or asphalt should be used. If any of these are found, the fee will change.
Your invoice spells out exactly what belongs in your bin, so give it a quick look before you start filling it. If we find the contents don't match what was ordered, we'll re-invoice based on what's actually in there.
Ready for pickup? Just give us at least one business day's notice.
The rental period for your bin is the number of days specified in the quote you accepted, and is covered by the fee you paid. Need it longer? Extensions are billed at $30 per day. We'll reach out shortly before your rental period ends if a pickup hasn't been booked yet. If we can't get a hold of you, daily extension charges will continue automatically until we connect. Returns requested earlier than the date agreed upon in your accepted quote will not be eligible for reimbursement.
If your bin goes over the included weight, we'll send an additional invoice for the prorated disposal fee. A copy of the transfer slip is available on request. Note that we're not responsible for added weight from rain or snow.
Dirt, asphalt, and concrete can't go in a general waste bin. If our driver finds any of these materials on pickup and can't safely take them, extra fees may apply, including the cost of bringing in a second bin. Loads are evaluated case by case to determine if weight limits have been exceeded.
Payment is due on delivery, and invoices are payable upon receipt. Accounts that remain unpaid for more than 2 weeks will be referred for legal action.
Our drivers use protective measures during every drop-off and pickup where possible, but Power Junk is not liable for any property damage. This includes surface scratches, ground sinking caused by the weight of the bin, weather-related damage, and staining or leaks caused by materials placed in the bin.
Once items are placed in the bin, they are considered surrendered by the customer and become the property of Power Junk & Bins Co. Ltd. Reusable materials may be donated, recycled, or repurposed at our discretion, and the customer is not entitled to compensation.
Please don't move or reposition your bin once it's placed — if there's an issue, just give us a call. If a bin is damaged on-site, let us know right away. Damage resulting from not following these terms may be billed to you for repair.
We keep client information confidential and stay out of disputes between contractors and their clients. If you're booking a bin for a property you don't own, please make sure you have the owner's permission first.
Booking with us means you're okay with Power Junk occasionally using photos, reviews, or project details from your job for marketing. You're also agreeing to receive occasional promotional emails or texts from us. If you'd prefer to opt out, just let us know in writing before your bin is delivered.
In winter months, please keep your driveway and the bin's access path clear of snow and ice. If unsafe conditions prevent delivery or pickup, a service fee may apply.
Third-party compactors or garbage crushers are not permitted in our bins, as they can cause damage. Please don't use them when filling your bin.
It's your responsibility to give us accurate delivery and contact details. If a delivery issue arises from incorrect information you've provided, the cancellation fees outlined in Section 2 will apply.
Power Junk does not accept asbestos or asbestos-containing materials in any bin or service, under any circumstances. Our drivers are not permitted to handle, load, or transport asbestos. If asbestos is found in a bin, it will be left on-site and additional fees may apply. Please arrange disposal through a licensed asbestos abatement specialist.
